Agent Cooper arrives in a building overlooking a strange, purple sea. Fleeing from an unseen threat outside, an eyeless woman leads Cooper onto a roof suspended in space; here she pulls a lever and then falls to her doom. After seeing a vision of a Major Briggs mentioning ‘Blue Rose’, Cooper returns inside, where a wall-mounted device labelled ‘253’ pulls him into itself. The device also affects Mr C, causing him to crash his car - and then pulls another version of Cooper, a hapless Las Vegas criminal known as Dougie Jones, into the Black Lodge. Mike watches as Dougie - a manufactured doppelgänger - devolves into a golden seed. A dazed Cooper materialises in Las Vegas, where a prostitute mistakes him for Dougie and takes him to a casino; meanwhile, an assassin fails a hit on ‘Dougie’, while another places a bomb under his car. Police investigate Mr C’s car crash. At the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department, Deputy Chief Hawk, Andy and Lucy struggle to find the missing information on Agent Cooper. Doctor Jacoby paints his shovels gold. At the ‘Silver Mustang Casino’, the confused Cooper is guided by the Lodge into winning mega-jackpots on the slot machines. In the FBI headquarters in Philadelphia, Deputy Director Gordon Cole, Agent Albert Rosenfield and Agent Tammy Preston review the file on the bodies of Sam and Tracy, and the creature in the box. They then receive a call stating that Agent Cooper has been found in South Dakota…
